Study On The Pottery Models Of Storage Buildings In The Central Henan Region Of The Han Dynasty

Pottery models of storage buildings are landmark cultural relic in the Han Dynasty tombs.It is also a common model of the funerary objects.It is the real embodiment of the concept of "everything dies as everything lives" in the Han Dynasty.During the Han Dynasty,the central Henan region played an extremely important role.There were a large number of tombs excavated in the Han Dynasty,and there are lots of the Pottery models of storage buildings in funerals.On the basis of previous studies and combined with archaeological data published in the past,this paper systematically combs the situation of Pottery models of storage buildings from the Han tombs the central Henan region f,unearthed general situation,morphology and regional characteristics.Pottery models of storage buildings first appeared in the tombs of central Henan in the late Western Han Dynasty,and gradually disappeared in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.The reasons for the rise of Pottery models of storage buildings can be summarized into two aspects: funeral thoughts and beliefs.Later,it declined because of the popularity of thin burial and the custom of combination of Ming implements.According to the method of archaeological typology,Pottery models of storage buildings unearthed from the Han tombs in central Henan can be divided into two types: A and B.Type A is a heavy eaves type pottery warehouse building,totally four types,and B is a single eaves type pottery warehouse building,totally two types.According to the age,it can be divided into the late Western Han Dynasty,the early and middle Eastern Han Dynasty and the late Eastern Han Dynasty.Then,by studying the regional characteristics of the Pottery models of storage buildings in the middle of Henan Province in the Han Dynasty,it is divided into two layers and multi-layers.This paper probes into the reflection of Pottery models of storage buildings on small and medium-sized landlord residences in central Henan Province from the macro-layout and the extension significance of Pottery models of storage buildings to the whole tomb space.It also probes into the form of Dougong and roof and the reflection of architectural technology from the micro-component aspect.Decoration is divided into three aspects: painting,sculpture and figurines.The artistic style andaesthetic connotation of pottery warehouse in central Henan are further analyzed.
