The image of strong man is mainly located on different materials such as stone,brick,silk paining,tomb mural painting,painted brick painting,brick carving,imprint brick,grotto mural painting,stone carving sculpture and so on.The object of study in this paper is the image of strong man on the wall of tombs in Hexi,Wei,Jin and Seventeen Kingdoms.The image of strong man is more common in Han Dynasty paintings,the tombs of Hexi,Wei,Jin and the Sixteenth Kingdoms also showed a large number of brick paintings brick carving on walls of the tomb.It's an important theme of decoration on the graveyard wall.The production process of these images is mainly color painting,ink painting,carving and painting brick carving.strong man wears towels to clarify,squat lift,naked upper boy,muscle developed,showing a strong and powerful image of the strong.In addition to its rich and colorful shape and painting techniques have deepened our understanding of the image of strong man.This article starts with the prototype of the image of strong man.By comparing with the image of strong man in the Han portraits on the wall of the tombs of the Wei and Jin dynasties in Hexi,the similarities and differences,the development vein and the influencing factors are discussed.Then,we divide and classify the image of strong man,perfect and enrich the content of the subject matter,summarize the configuration law and regional characteristics of the image of strong man,and summarize the distribution law and regional characteristics of the image of strong man.This paper probes into the modeling characteristics,craftsmanship and subject subjects of strong man brick paintings in Hexi Wei and Jin dynasties,and deeply studies the religious beliefs,totem worship,auspicious signs,cultural exchanges and other cultural connotations reflected in the images of strong man.It is of great significance to further study the development of the image of strong man and the cultural connotation symbolized in different periods by studying the brick paintings of the tombs in the tombs of Hexi,Wei,Jin and the Sixteen Kingdoms of the Western Wei and Jin dynasties.It is also convenient for people to understand the martial arts of Hexi area along the Silk Road,the traditional customs of strength and the concept of exorcism in the tombs of the town,and the funeral idea of rising to immortals after death.The image of strong man appears in the tomb.While emphasizing the function of tomb guarding and bearing,it also reflects people's worship of the image of strong man at that time to a certain extent,and isendowed with more symbolic significance and cultural connotation.
