The Spatial Dimension Research Of Chinese Small Cities And Towns Movies

Since 1990 s,with the rapid development of Urbanization in China,the small cities and towns have been the space where Industrial civilization and agricultural civilization fight against and merge with each other.A group of directors connects the process of the artist's growth and maturity with the entire social and the reform and opening-up background in order to study the interaction between film,artists and Chinese society.They focus on the modernization process of the small cities and towns.In the form of nonfiction film works,they record the different dimensions of China society,and create the theory of documentary aesthetics of Chinese small cities and towns.They reshape the small cities and towns space brought by a series of film produced.This paper based on the relevant theories of film aesthetics,discusses the dimensions about the space in the the small cities and towns films.This paper consist of four chapter.The first chapter discusses the research background and significance of the small cities and towns space in the films.The second chapter discusses the development of the Chinese small cities and towns movies,illustrate the concept and derivation of the Chinese small cities and towns films.The third chapter is a descriptive synchronic study on the differences dimensions of the space in the Chinese small cities and towns movies.The fourth chapter focuses on the diachronic study of space in the Chinese small cities and towns movies,which reflect the changes of the space in the Chinese small cities and towns movies.
