Research On Yuan Xiaocen's Animal Sculpture Art

Yuan Xiaocen is a famous Chinese painter and sculptor in Yunnan.In artistic creation,he inherited the tradition,rooted in national culture and studied western sculpture.All his life,he deeply studied art and created a large number of works.Among them,“peacock”,“crane”and“horse”are the main themes.In the history of Chinese sculpture in the 20 th century,Yuan Xiaocen's animal sculpture is worthy of attention and study.This article takes Yuanxiaocen's animal sculpture art as the research object and Yuanxiaocen's artistic environment as the background,analyzes Yuanxiaocen's entire process of animal sculpture art.The article mainly uses literature,formal analysis,comparative analysis,field investigation and other research methods to explore the reasons why Yuanxiaocen formed a unique artistic style in the framework of comparing with Western sculpture art and comparing with Yunnan folk sculpture art.It tries to study the origin,spiritual connotation and aesthetic meaning of Yuanxiaocen's animal sculpture art.From the perspective of Fine Arts,this paper analyzes Yuanxiaocen's creative methods,artistic language,etc.While focusing on the generation,development,and sublimation of Yuanxiaocen's animal sculpture,she combs and discusses Yuanxiaocen's artistic creation and artistic characteristics.Fully exploit the artist's unique artistic value and artistic thought.
