The Practice Of Designing Yunnan Huayao Dai's Fabric Cultural Creativity Products

Although China's cultural creativity industries started late,they have developed rapidly and received attention from all sectors of society.With the vigorous development of the cultural creativity industries,the integration of“culture” into products has become a major trend in the global market.Meanwhile,there are different national cultures in different geographical environment and social and cultural environment,leading to the emergence of a wide variety of cultural creativity products.Nowadays,the development of cultural creativity products with ethnic regional cultural characteristics has become one of the hot topics in the moment.During the development of cultural creativity products,the full use of national culture and the integration of national culture into the design of cultural creativity products can not only promote the development of the national culture,but also enrich the cultural content of cultural creativity products.The Huayao Dai in the Xinping area of Yunnan is a branch of the Dai people.There are obvious differences in their cultural customs and living habits from other branches of the Dai people.They are also called Huayao Dai by by other ethnic groups because the women there wear one or more colorful long waistbands.Unlike the Dai people living in other areas,Huayao Dai features that they have not been influenced by the Theravada Buddhism,but still strongly believe in animism.Huayao Dai fabric is a product in people's production and life,which reflects its unique ethnic regional culture and is part of its national culture.Based on the field investigation on the Huayao Dai,this paper first sorted out the related literature and introduced the related background of Huayao Dai culture.Second,it analyzed the results of the field investigation on the Huayao Dai,analyzed the fabric elements of Huayao Dai,and conducted a analysis and consideration of the combination of different handicraft skills with special materials.Finally,through the above analysis and study,the paper determined the ideas of designing “Huami”-series cultural creativityproducts,through which the paper attempted to apply the Huayao Dai fabric elements to the practice of designing "Seeing Huami"-,"Reproducing Huami"-and Crossing Huami"-series of cultural creativity products,hoping to promote the culture of Huayao Dai while enriching the content of cultural creativity products,and further make people know and understand the ethnic culture that is gradually disappearing.
