The History Of Rewriting Casting

The ancient Dian Kingdom,a country that only existed for hundreds of years in ancient Yunnan,has fostered a splendid culture of bronze.Among the unique bronze culture,the shell-storage containers are the cultural representative.Except for their historical charm,those shell-storage containers also reflect the national characteristics and art culture possessed by the ancient Dian,which provide the feasibility of the study of the ancient Dian even without the literary inscription.The ancient bronze shell-storage containers are the artistic treasure of the Chinese nation.The theme of the "animal fighting" on the cover sculptures of the shell-storage containers is quite common in Dian bronze art,however,for example the sculpture of "the fight of tiger and cattle" not merely the simple imitation of the animal behaviors.As a result,through the analysis of the shell-storage containers of "the fight of tiger and cattle",this thesis explores the possibility of extending the sculpture art of shell-storage containers into oil plane painting.Additionally,we also take a preliminary practice in our own oil painting,and appreciate the language of oil painting of shell-storage containers in ancient Dian Kingdom from the aspect of ideas and techniques.To some extent,this study shows the unique history of ancient Dian Kingdom,and deeply demonstrates the characteristics and value of bronze shell-storage containers.
