Zhu Zaiyu(1536 / 1611),called Boqin in word,was the ninth grandson of Zhu Yuanzhang,the eldest son of Zhu Houan,Emperor Zhenggong,who lived in Ming Dynastry and Wanli period.He devoted his life to academic studies,including astronomical calendars,mathematics,music,dance,art and so on.What makes him most familiar with is that,for the first time,he put forward a new method of density ratio(twelve average law)in a mathematical way,which solved the difficult problem of turning the palace of freedom.He was regarded as "Chinese musician in Ming Dynasty","Calendar","scientist","musician" and "poet" by later scholars.In his many academic works,the study of dance art is a very important part,accounting for one-fifth of its research fields.His dance theory structure is complete,including strong systematicness,which is enough to prove that he is also a dance art theorist.Taking Zhu Zaiyu's dance works as the core research object,it is divided into three chapters to discuss the formation of Zhu Zaiyu's dance art thought,the theoretical system content of dance art view and the practice of dance art(dance notation).Based on the analysis of ancient books,documents and pictures,the profound connotation of Zhu Zaiyu's dance art thought from the perspective of history,society and dance body is probed into.The main content of the introduction includes three parts,such as research status at home and abroad,research significance and research ideas,methods and innovations,expounds the reasons and conditions of the selected topic,and demonstrates that there are many research results on Zhu Zaiyu's music law and mathematics at home and abroad,while the research on his dance thought is weak.The first chapter mainly analyzes the influence of Zhu Zaiyu's and his personal life and works in the middle and late Ming Dynasty from the aspects of politics,economy and social trend of thought,and makes a deep analysis of the historical roots of Zhu Zaiyu's dance art thought from the historical and social point of view.The second chapter systematically expounds and studies the essence of the "empty-handed Dance" of Zhu Zaiyu,the social function view of the "aesthetic education",the development view of the "the dance needs to seek change" and the systematic dance theory of the "ten theory of dance learning",striving to present Zhu Zaiyu's dance view as a whole and prepare for the theoretical analysis of the third chapter.The third chapter is the study of Zhu Zaiyu's dance notation types.On the basis of Zhu Zaiyu's theory of dance art,a case study of five different types of "dance notation" in Zhu Zaiyu's dance practice is made an analysis.Combined with the current dance theory,it makes an in-depth interpretation of his "dance notation',and finds out the regularity of Zhu Zaiyu's dance,so as to demonstrate the scientificity of the dance.At the same time,the deficiency of dance notation is also pointed out,and the dance art theory of Zhu Zaiyu's is made a in-depth analysis so as to play an important reference value to the development of contemporary dance in China.
