The opera "Jasmine Flower" tells the story of the Citong Port(Quanzhou)in the Yuan Dynasty more than 700 years ago.In the opera,the Persian female slave Aisha who was smuggling in had an intricate and moving love story with a Chinese boatman Tang Haisheng.This is the most prosperous era of Quanzhou Port.As the starting point of the "Maritime Silk Road”,it is also known as“the largest port in the East”.In addition to expressing this love story,the playwright also wants show the brilliant past of Quanzhou Port.The opera mainly draws on the creation techniques of Western opera and combines with the local music elements lnown as the Quanzhou“South Music",which is also called the inherited music in prosperous Tang Dynasty,so as to shape the musical image of the characters."Where is the desolation of the military song" is one of the important arias of the actress Aisha.It is an aria that expressed and sung in the face of the moment when she was oppressed by the power to be separated from the lover.This paper first introduces the background of the opera of "Frangipani",starting from the opera plot,the composer's creative experience and creative techniques,and then analyzing the characters and music according to the life experience of the heroine "Aisha".Finally,it was divided into four sections to carry out the singing analysis of the aria "This is the desolation of the military song."When I am singing the aria,I not only understand the sadness and despair of Aisha,but also the vigorous determination to resist when facing with the oppression by power to oppress and rebel.It is necessary to fully study the script,musical characteristics and singing skills when singing in order to interpret the character perfectly.
