Joint attention(JA)is a coordinative attention ability of children,which consists of oneself,others and the third object's coordinative attention.Initiating Joint Attention(IJA)is an important part of JA,it closely connected with children's ability of language,imitation,play and social-interaction.Therefore,IJA is becoming the major research point of Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD)children.This study chose two ASD children as object.The study was made at home,parents did the IJA intervention for the ASD children with the method of systemic hint.In the 10 same situations,observed the occurrence number's changing of children's IJA behaviours among baseline observing,intervention observing and maintenance observing,to explored its effectiveness.This study mainly used the method of Single Subject Research(designed as crossing action and multi-baseline),and accompanied by observation method and interviewing method.The research tool of this study were self compiled "IJA observing form" and "Parents reliability form".The intervention ordered is Alternate,Point and Show.In baseline observing,after 3 rounds observation,the statistics became stable,then into the intervention observing.In Intervention observing,treated one behaviour at once,other behaviours were still in the baseline observing,applied five level systemic hint from Most-to-Least.Used unstructured method to observe initial level,among the 10 situations,children's IJA behaviour occurred more than 8 times in the three consecutive rounds,then came into the next hint level,after the fifth hint level,came into maintenance observing.In maintenance observing,did three rounds observing as well.Each rounds intervention contained 30 minutes,3 rounds a week,the total rounds focused on children's IJA behaviour.Finally,children X gets 41 rounds observed,lasted 15 weeks;children Ygets 77 rounds observed,lasted 26 weeks.This study used field notes and videotapes to collect statistics,used videotapes to tests the validity and reliability as well,the statistics were treated visual analysis and C.Finally came to the conclusion,parents used systemic hint intervention method at home setting can effectively improve ASD children's IJA.After the intervention,children X's ability of Point and Show got improved.children Y's ability of Alternate,Point and Show got improved.In addition,this study analyzed the reason of intervention effects,then analyzed the different intervention effects as well.Finally,made some suggestions on IJA research and development for subsequent research.
