| Job burnout has become harmful on physical and mental health of auto salesmen.In recent years,job burnout has become a popular subject in Psychological field.However,there are few studies to examine the mechanism of job stress on job burnout.This essay takes the auto salesmen as subject to explore the impact of job stress on job burnout from the perspective of emotion regulation strategies.In the first research,we choose 400 auto salesmen,use the measures of the Job burnout Scale and the Job Stress Scale to analyse how job stress impacts on job burnout.Results indicate that auto salesmen' job stress is positively correlated with job burnout,and auto salesmen' job stress has a positive predictive effect on job burnout.In the following research,we also take 400 auto salemen as our subject,using the Job Stress Scale to measure the auto salesmen' job stress,using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire to measure how auto salesmen regulate their emotion,using the job burnout Scale to measure auto salesmen' job burnout.And we will analyze further to discuss the relationship among job stress,emotion regulation strategies(cognitive reappraisal and express suppression strategy)and job burnout.And we can see from the results that,the frequency of using cognitive reappraisal strategies has a negative effect on auto salesmen'job burnout,while the frequency of using express suppression strategies has a positive effect on auto salesmen'job burnout.Most importantly,in the second research we found that the cognitive reappraisal strategy has a partial intermediary effect on the relation between job stress(role conflict,workload and work-family conflict)and job burnout(emotion exhaustion,depersonalization and low achievement sense).The conclusion of this study will offer some implication to intervene the job burnout of auto salesmen. |
