With the development of globalization,the social environment is gradually diversified.More and more individuals come into contact with and learn more than two cultures,and then have multi-cultural experience.The bicultural identity integration has important influence on every aspect of bicultural individuals.The results of the study on the relationship between multicultural experience and creativity of immigrants shows that multicultural experience can promote creativity.Because most of the ethnic minorities in China study their own national culture and Han nationality culture,and have the experience of living in the two cultural backgrounds,they belong to the bicultural experience individuals.The relationship between the bicultural identity integration and creativity of Chinese ethnic bicultural individuals remains to be explored.It is found in the research on artistic creativity of overseas students that multicultural experience can improve creativity,but there may be some conditions for the transformation between them.Therefore,it is inferred that there may be a moderating effect between BII and creativity.Therefore,this study will select the ethnic minorities in northwest China as the research object to explore the relationship between the bicultural identity integration and creativity,and the moderating effect of personality openness.It is expected to provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of ethnic creativity from the perspective of bicultural identity integration.The first study focuses on the relationship between the BII and creative convergent thinking.A group of 130 students from ethnic minorities(Tibetan,Hui,Dongxiang)in the Northwest Region were selected as participants and investigated using the ?icultural Identity Integration(?II)questionnaire and the remote association test.The results show that the bicultural identity integration harmony-conflict dimension has a significant predictive effect on the remote association of creativity.The second study explored the relationship between the ?icultural identity integrationand divergent thinking of creativity,and the moderating effect of personality openness.168 students from ethnic minorities(Tibetan,Hui,Dongxiang)in the Northwest Region were selected as participants by means of group sampling.The survey uses unusual uses test,the ?II questionnaire,and the open personality questionnaire for the investigation.The results show that the harmonious conflict dimension of BII significantly predicts the originality of creativity,and personality openness plays a moderating role between the harmonious conflict dimension of BII and the originality of creativity.The third study to explore the relationship between integration of bicultural identity and divergent thinking of creativity,and the moderating effect of personality openness in different bicultural groups(minority secondary vocational students).Same with cluster sampling method to select 344 northwest minorities(Tibetan,Hui nationality,Dongxiang)college students as subjects,the research uses unusual uses test,the ?II questionnaire and personality open questionnaire investigation research.The results show that the harmony-conflict dimension of BII significantly predicts the originality of creativity,and personality openness plays a moderating role between the harmony-conflict dimension of BII and the originality of creativity.The results show that the ethnic minority bicultural individuals with good identity integration of the two cultures are more conducive to the improvement of creativity,and personality openness plays a moderateing role between them.In practice,from the perspective of enhancing creativity through integration of bicultural identity,this paper provides some inspirations for cultivating the creativity of ethnic minorities.Multicultural education is helpful to the bicultural identity integration of students and provides the precondition for the improvement of creativity.In addition,the current research proves that personality openness is the moderating factor for multicultural experience to improve creativity and expands the research field of integration of bicultural identity.It also provides an empirical basis for how to use multicultural experience to cultivate creativity in daily life.
