Under the requirement of the new curriculum reform,the college entrance examination will pay close attention to the testing of students' writing level.Accuracy is a relatively direct standard for judging students' writing ability,which makes English teachers in high school attach great importance to the exploration of methods that can improve the accuracy of English writing of students.The accuracy of English writing can be measured by E/T and EFT/T.At this point,English teachers always use two ways to improve their students' writing accuracy.The two methods are writing feedback and cooperative writing,but they have no clear effects in the daily classroom activities.It is extremely essential for researchers and the front line teachers to apply a new and effective classroom writing activity.Joint Production as a new teaching approach,it provides a new try for the foreign language writing classroom teaching.On the basis of the student instant language' output,teachers fully interact with students,and timely provide necessary assistance and feedback in class.Joint production is just like“scaffolding”,it helps the learners to complete the desired task and improve the proficiency of writing high-quality compositions.On account of the above research background,this thesis first elaborates the previous literature studies on the accuracy of writing and the concept and rationale of joint production as well as the theoretical framework involved.According to L2 feedback,social constructivism and classroom practice,the author makes the good use of the advantages of joint production in English writing classroom and selects 99 students from two parallel classes of a high school as subjects,namely,experimental class(50students)and control class(49 students).In the process of English writing teaching,the experimental class adopts the joint production teaching mode,the control class has classes with the traditional mode,which is process production mode.The experiment lasts for eight weeks from September 2018 to November 2018,and the experimental tools are mainly writing tests and interviews.After the experiment,through the collection and effective analysis of experimental data in SPSS 21.0,the research results show that: 1)joint production,a classroom teaching activity,can improve the accuracy of students' writing;2)joint production has a good feedback in classroom experience of students.This study offers detailed and effective direction for high school English writing teaching class activities,has practical significance,and also provides a new view for English writing teaching theory.At the same time,there are some limitations in this study.The follow-up research can put this method intomore participants,extend the experimental period,and test in a multidimensional way.Only in this way can it be popularized and play a greater role in the accuracy of writing.
