Shi Tiesheng is a very philosophical writer in the contemporary literary world. His thinking has reached a very deep depth, from death to fate until reaching the ultimate meaning of survival. The origin of all this comes from the major turning point of life Shi Tiesheng faced when he was 21-disability.After that,he had a great distance from the society. He gradually realized that the individual who was defeated by physical disability was completely beyond any external factors in his life.At the beginning of his disability,he often showed mania and anger, resenting the injustice of his fate.Encouraged by friends and relatives, and after hard thinking, they gradually stepped out of the narrow-mindedness of their individual thoughts and began to jump out of their own way to examine the difficulties of everyone's survival. The way of writing is opened by looking at the pen tips. This article consists of introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction part mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this topic, the current research situation of Shi Tiesheng and the research ideas and methods of this paper. The first chapter of the text discusses the process of Shi Tiesheng's opening the door to writing because of his disability. The first section explains the experience of Shi Tiesheng's disability and the survival reason he found for " not committing suicide"-writing.The second section interprets Shi Tiesheng's earlier works' observation of reality.During this period,Shi Tiesheng still did not get rid of the pain caused by disability, describing the inconvenience of the disabled in life and the unfriendly discrimination and isolation from the society. The third section explains that Shi Tiesheng's later works have entered metaphysical rational thinking. The works of this period have already had calm thinking and are more concerned with spirit and soul.In the second chapter,Shi Tiesheng's exploration of life in the process of traveling is started.First, his disability causes him to think about fate.In the first section,Shi Tiesheng realizes the cruelty, accident and absurdity of fate and unveils the mysterious veil of fate. The second section comprehends the meaning of life and death.Due to the difficulty of living,Shi Tiesheng once had a strong yearning for death. After countless days and nights in the earth world,he finally realized that death is a festival that is bound tocome and a thing that need not be hurried to achieve. The third section reveals three kinds of predicaments that human beings are born to face: loneliness caused by people's inability to communicate with each other completely, pain caused by people's inability to realize their emerging desires, and fear caused by death. The third chapter goes into seeking ways to surmount the difficulties and discusses how to break through the difficulties. The first section puts forward the beauty of process.Shi Tiesheng believes that the meaning of life lies in process.Only by taking process as meaning can we truly surmount difficulties and life and death. The second section is religious spirit, which is different from specific religious beliefs. The religious spirit here refers to a kind of stubbornness originating from the origin of life, that is,when facing difficulties, one must have religious strong thoughts to overcome it and surpass it.In the third section, the redemption of love,Shi Tiesheng believed that the strength of people's spiritual will can make people challenge the plight of survival, but this must be based on love.Human beings march forward mightily, not by hatred, but by love. Therefore,Shi Tiesheng is convinced that love is the effective way for people to get out of trouble. The conclusion part points out the contemporary significance of reading Shi Tiesheng.
