Dai's Religious Spirit—Witchery-ghost And Deity-Buddha

The purpose of this paper aims at finding out the realistic meaning of religious spirit and faith to human by studying Dai's religious faith and its spiritual characteristic.The Dai's religious faith plays an important role in shaping the its spiritual world and all aspects of its cultural life.the special religious spirit of Dai is isomorphic to its special faith mode,that isostructuu-alism between witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha is distinctive power in xin xing that shaping Dai's spiritual construction.The superimposition of witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha forms a faith mode between witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha.This paper concentrates on the faith of witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha,and the middle way produced by ffusion and infiltration of them,by means of angle of view of fear arising from the question of life and death to analyse influence to Dai's culture and life the faith generated by the mode between witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha,that is,giving concomitant and parallel content and structure characterization to Dai'culture and life,then generally shapes its style and temperan)(ment of culture and life.As we know,this is the value and significance of Dai's religious spirit.And we have found out that some people that perplexed by faith n real life actually possesses religious temperament similar to religious temperament of witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha,that is,people's faith has different levels of need,and all lavers are often intertwined.This religious spirit of Dai is instructive to deepen meaning of this probler.This paper studies this problem through analysing dependent roles ofwitchery-ghost and deity-Buddha in two dimensions.This paper,expounds and analyzes from the different angle of view of 'death' in the dimension of time,and the methods of'seeking from the outside' and 'seeking from the inside' from the point of view of the fear of life and death,that testifies influence to Dai's traditional spiritual world generated by witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha.Finally,this paper will Multi-dimensionally demonstrate religious spirit generated by witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha through enumerating practical situation such as alcohol,colour,dance,and water that demonstrated by its religious spirit,then digs out the value of faith in life status,that finds out the way that how Dai's religious reply to fear.Not only directly hits the most fragile focus of human nature,but also objectively and vividly explains how witchery-ghost and deity-Buddha give people the healing and redemption of body and soul.
