A Study On Zeng Gong's Parallel Prose And Related Issues

Zeng Gong was a great writer in the Northern Song Dynasty and enjoyed a high reputation both before and after his death.However,in the past,the study of Zeng Gong mainly focused on his prose and poetry,while the study of his parallel prose was relatively weak.This paper takes Zeng Gong's parallel prose as the research object,uses the method of parallel literature to analyze the style,content and stylistic characteristics of Zeng Gong's parallel prose,and at the same time,combines historical data to investigate the role and significance of some parallel prose in specific historical events.The paper is divided into four parts:The introduction elaborates the significance of the topic selection of this paper.This paper reviews the research status of Zeng Gong's parallel prose,including Zeng Gong's research and parallel prose history related to the topic of this paper.The first chapter mainly discusses the content of Zeng Gong's parallel prose,and divides the creation of Zeng Gong's parallel prose into stages.The first part of the second chapter outlines the genre of Zeng Gong's parallel prose,whose parallel prose creation includes different genres such as making instructions,imperial edicts,policies,tables,playing forms,enlightenments,memorials,notes and miscellaneous comments,which can be described as a combination of various genres.On this basis,this paper explores Zeng Gong's parallel prose creation and his attitude towards parallel prose.The second part discusses the dispersive features of Zeng Gong's parallel prose in the dual sentence pattern under the background of the ancient prose movement.The third part discusses the characteristics of Zeng Gong's allusions and their advantages and disadvantages.The first part of the third chapter probes into Zeng Gong's political thought during the period of Xifeng Reform with Zeng Gong's instructions.The rest is an analysis of three scattered points,including the change of Zeng Gong's mentality when he moved to other states during the Xining Reform.Zeng Gong's Ci-writing in the period of Shushe Ren in Zhongshu was not an event of God's Zongyi,and the meaning of Zeng Gong's Ci-writing in the same period and Yan'an County King's Table.From these three aspects,this paper probes into Zeng Gong's political standpoint,moral character and official experience.
