A Preliminary Study On The Application Of Texture Techniques In The Creation Of "Flower Rhyme" Series

Meticulous flower-and-bird painting made great progress in the Tang and Song Dynasties,especially in the Song Dynasty,which reached the peak of the classical period.In traditional painting,the texture techniques used more are brush texture and less are made of materials.Since the 1980s,Meticulous Brushwork has been restored to the artist's vision.In recent years,under the impact of the new artistic trend of thought,it not only promotes the emergence and application of new tools and materials,but also promotes the development of texture techniques.Thus,painters engaged in or loved painting have made new breakthroughs on the basis of inheriting traditional painting techniques.Texture techniques in paintings have a variety of forms of expression,through Meticulous Brushwork presented to the audience a richer language of expression.Through the understanding and exploration of the effect of texture expression,combined with the influence and analysis of the application of texture techniques on contemporary fine brushwork flower-and-bird painting,this paper applies the appropriate texture techniques and understandings to the creation of "Flower-Rhyme" series of works to express the author's feelings.This series of works is my exploration and application of texture techniques,followed by the artistic practice of creation.
