Research On Ruan Ji's "Survival Philosophy"

"Survival" is an eternal topic that people have been thinking since ancient times.During the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the political situation was turbulent and the world was in turmoil,and social changes made the issue of "survival" be an unprecedentedly important position.Ruan Ji,as a generation of Zhulin celebrities with ideal and responsibility,had to show his worry and anxiety about the existence of individual life.His philosophical thinking was based on the quest for "survival",aim to find a "survival philosophy" and try to find a place for people to live in misery.This paper is divided into three parts to study the "survival philosophy" of Ruan Ji.The first part expounds Ruan Ji from the perspective of "survival philosophy",which mainly comes to the conclusion that Ruan Ji's philosophy is actually a kind of "survival philosophy" through the definition of "survival philosophy" and the emergence of "survival philosophy" of Ruan Ji.The second part probes into the inner structure of Ruan Ji's "survival philosophy",In the survival,"nature" is the essence of survival,"cultivation and longevity,and harmony with nature" is the cultivation of survival,while "unfettered in this world,then be in the unity of Dao" is the survival state,which can be deduced from each other,the essence of survival is the basis of survival state;the survival state is the result of survival subject through cultivation of survival;the cultivation of survival is the way to express the essence of survival.The third part is about the characteristics and evaluation of Ruan Ji's "survival philosophy",mainly from the two aspects of tragic particularity and positive significance.Ruan Ji's philosophy of survival not only gained the survival of life in the Wei and Jin dynasties,but also explored a living wisdom.Studying the “survival philosophy” of Ruan Ji helps us fully understand survival itself,establish correct values of survival,live our own life,and have a perfect life.
