English writing reflects students' comprehensive application ability and it is also an important index to measure students' English level.Evaluation is a very important part in teaching of English writing.Teacher evaluation and peer evaluation have attracted wide attention from scholars at home and abroad.However,previous studies by scholars mainly focused on the College students,and few on middle school students,especially in the high school stage.The purpose of this study is to introduce peer review into the teaching of English writing in grade one student in high school,to design specific implementation steps and to predict possible problems.The purpose of this study is to enhance the enthusiasm of grade one students in English writing and to enhance their confidence in English writing and to reduce their errors in veracity of language expression.This research takes Class 5 and Class 6 of Grade 1 in a middle school as the research object and conducts a four-month action research.Before the action research,two classes were surveyed with questionnaires and English writing proficiency tests were conducted before the experiment.During the experiment,the two classes adopted peer review method tocorrect the peer's writings for four times in two rounds.At the end of the experiment,the questionnaires and the peer review tables of the two classes were sorted out and the final research results were obtained:(1)Students can improve the accuracy of language expression in English writing through peer review.(2)Through peer review,students' veracity in five aspects of language expression has been improved to varying degrees.Anong them,the most significant improvement is the spelling of words,capitalization,followed by personal,tense,etc.In sente'nce patterns,the accuracy of words and phrase collocation has also made significant progress,the smallest improvement is the sentence structure.Therefore,this study holds that the effective application of peer review in senior high school English writing teaching can enhance students'interest and confidence in English writing and can reduce students5 errors in the accuracy of language expression,.and complement each other with teachers' assessment,so as to promote and improve their English writing level.
