Although Beethoven’s artistic song was not his most important music creation genre,have a unique artistic status.As a pioneer in the creation of German art songs,about 66 different artistic style art songs not only promote the development of art songs,but also affect the artistic creation of composers such as Schubert and Schumann in different degrees.This article mainly analyzes Beethoven’s art songs from two parts.one part of it is the emotional connotation of Beethoven’s artistic songs and the classification of emotional connotations.The article mainly includes patriotic emotions,religious beliefs,natural life,and love yearning.The other part mainly analyzes the singing of Beethoven’s art,based the different categories of emotional connotation,chose the love-themed work-"I love you" as an example.It is mainly analyzed in detail from the background of the creation of the work,the characteristics of the lyrics,the language features in singing and the emotional grasp.The paper contains three chapters,each chapter is as follows:The first chapter summarizes Beethoven’s artistic songs and analyzes the creative proc ess and development of Beethoven’s artistic songs from the perspectives of three diffe rent creative periods in the early,middle and late stages.The second chapter through-o uts the works of his art songs.four kinds of emotional themes can be classified,which are love,natural life,country,relig ion.And chooses "I Love You" with the theme of love as an example to study the mus ic structure and emotional connotation.The third chapter combines the actual singing a nd related materials to analyze the singing part and emotion of the whole work of "I L ove You".
