Chen Duxiu is the leader of the new faction camp,and Tongcheng School is the ally of the Qing Dynasty literary world.The differences between Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng's cultural orientations and values in different camps have produced sharp contradictions and fierce conflicts during the May Fourth Movement.However,the two sides of contradictions have the experience of exchange and integration.Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng School have complex emotions.This paper analyzes the facts and behaviors of Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng School,and analyzes the complex relationship and emotion between Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng School.Combining the changing background of the times,we will clarify Chen Duxiu's cultural psychology and mental journey.The body of the article is divided into four parts.The first chapter mainly introduces Chen Duxiu's academic origins.The growing environment,the relationship between the Imperial Examination and the Tongcheng School,and the interaction with the Tongcheng School literati are all important components of Chen Duxiu's academic origins.The second chapter mainly describes Chen Duxiu gets support from Tongcheng School.Case studies were conducted with Fang Zhiwu,Li Guangjiong and Ma Qichang as the entry points.Combining Chen Duxiu's identity and career at that time,analyzed why Tongcheng people to help Chen Duxiu and the deep connotation of “Tongchengs' help”.The third chapter focuses on the struggle between Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng School during the "May 4th" New Culture Movement.The first section mainly analyzes the effect of Chen Duxiu's curriculum history on the inaccuracy and inaccurate experience.The "fake" resume made Chen Duxiu enter the Peking University as a liberal arts scientist and transformed the spirit of Peking University.More importantly,I found positions and helpers in the fight against the Tongcheng School in the future.The second section explains why Chen Duxiu set the Tongcheng School as the target of attack and how to break down the Tongcheng School for the camp.Because Chen Duxiu praised the new culture and the new literature,the Tongcheng School naturally broke into the role of being raided because of disagreement.Because Chen Duxiu "comes from Tongcheng",trained by Tongcheng discipline,it is easier to grasp the ills of Tongcheng School.In this way,the strategy was formulated to launch an offensive against the Tongcheng School.The fourth chapter is based on Chen Duxiu's words and behavior of his later years.This chapter divides Chen Duxiu's later years into two parts: Nanjing Prison and Retreat to Jiangjin.With Chen Duxiu's cultural behavior,creating old poems,and missing the old Tongcheng as a context,Chen Duxiu gradually returns to the cultural culture of traditional culture and Tongcheng.The conclusion part is a summary of Chen Duxiu's academic origins,the help of Tongcheng,the confrontation with Tongcheng and the return to Tongcheng.It explains the complex relationship and emotion between Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng,and clarifies Chen Duxiu's changing cultural psychology.Finally,Chen Duxiu and Tongcheng School respectively represent the new culture and traditional culture.Nowadays,cultural education can combine tradition with modernity,and make traditional culture glow with modern value.
