A Study Of Musical Images In The Complete Works Of Song Painting

The painting of song dynasty is an important historical stage in the history of ancient Chinese painting,and its realistic technique tends to the peak.There are many realistic music scenes in song dynasty paintings,which is an important material to explore the style of music in song dynasty.In this paper,the music images in the large-scale Song Dynasty painting collection Complete Works of Song Paintings are taken as the research object,and the Guqin images,children's music images and The Book of Odes pictures with special phenomena are described and analyzed as a whole in the portraits of musicians,shape and playing posture of musical instruments,playing field,etc.,in an attempt to "reconstruct" the "music culture scene" at that time.Combining with the historical and cultural background,this paper tries to interpret the special music culture phenomenon or the artist's music concept in the Song Dynasty,and summarizes the value and significance of music images to the music research of the Song Dynasty.This paper is divided into preface,three chapters and conclusion:In the preface,first of all,the concept of Musical Iconography and the development status of the subject in China,the hot topic to be explained,and explain the research concept and method of this topic.This paper holds that the research value of music image can not only supplement or prove history,but also is a unique component of music history.It is in favor of the research method of "seeing pictures and talking".In the process of description and analysis,trying to add personal perceptual experience in watch the image(similar to the field of music Ethnomusicology experience),based on the research of music ontology,combined with the problems found,Musical Instruments,music,music activities in the historical and cultural background of the society at that time,trying to interpret the artist's concept of music or special music culture phenomenon.The body part is composed of three parallel chapters.On the one hand,it describes and analyzes the guqin images,children's music images and The Book of Odes.On the other hand,it tries to explain the problems found in the writing based on the historical and cultural background at that time.Guqin in elegant music often has a very strong symbolic function.In the image of Taoist priests and children playing the piano,it shows that Huizong in Song Dynasty was obsessed with Taoism and Guqin,and there was an ecological environment of formal court and family children's Guqin education activities in Song Dynasty.The music education situation of children in the song dynasty can be preliminarily sketched through some pictures of guqin,dressingup,puppetplay,hudanceand other music activities.From the perspective of the artist's identity,the background of the era of painting creation reveals that under the double crisis of military war and the inheritance of the ruler's throne,children's music images are another way for the rulers to make decisions.The picture of the book of songs drawn by Ma hezhi includes the court feast for the feast of music,worship to king wen and king wu,circular mound for sacrifice,field rite and other music activities.It is the product of the "proposition" of emperor Gaozong and emperor Xiaozong,and reflects the optimism of the southern song dynasty for a specific period of time and a specific group of people.The pictures ofThe Book of Odes or the existing series of pictures of the Book of Filial Piety can be said to be the result of the specific practice of the whole society at that time with the goal of "rejuvenation" and at the behest of the rulers.Conclusion the exploration of this topic can further broaden the research space of Song music in three aspects:Guqin(playing field,image of pianist),musician(children),and Yayue(Southern Song Yayue).
