| Traditional culture is the foundation of a nation.Chinese traditional culture is extensive and profound,with a long history,and should be passed on.In order to strengthen the inheritance of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,the country vigorously advocates related activities.It has aroused amount of social debates and academic attention.Education and culture are inseparably related.The school education has taken on the important responsibility to inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture.Classroom teaching,a way to inherit Chinese traditional culture,is easy to be noticed in school education.And extracurricular activities,as another effective way to inherit excellent Chinese traditional culture,can not be ignored.Based on the documents issued by the Ministry of Education,this thesis starts from the national traditional cultural literacy in today’s society,and then triggers the reflection on the school extracurricular activities which aims to inherit the excellent Chinese traditional culture.This thesis explains the significance of the study,grasps the current research situation about extracurricular activities and inheritance of traditional culture at home and abroad.Considering the regional characteristics of Shenhe District in Shenyang,and taking patriotism,life and self-cultivation as the criteria,the thesis takes Shenhe District as an example and researches on the inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture in extracurricular activities.In this thesis,the methods of literature review,investigation,questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation are adopted.Through the analysis of students’ questionnaires and teachers’ interviews,this thesis summarizes the current situation of the inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture in extracurricular activities in Shenhe District.It includes several achievements,such as responding positively to the request of higher authorities,organizing inheritance activities with different and distinctive themes,trying to introduce extramural teachers,gradual improvement of inheritance conditions etc.There are also some problems,such as passive carrying out the task of inheritance,the need of improvement of teachers’ traditional cultural literacy,the inadequate content of inheritance,the unitary forms of activities and the effect of inheritance is not obvious.In this thesis,in view of the problems and causes of the inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture in the extracurricular activities of primary schools in Shenhe District,some suggestion are given to solve the existing problems and to further promote the inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture in the extracurricular activities in Shenhe District primary schools and the other multi-ethnic gathering place primary schools.The suggestions contain: paying more attention;exploring appropriate traditional cultural content;adopting appropriate extracurricular activities;enhancing teachers’ traditional cultural literacy;paticipating in building traditional culture atmosphere;formulating practical and reasonable evaluation criteria. |
