Since 2004,Hanban has launched a large-scale project of the Confucius Institute to spread Chinese culture. The three main functions of Hanban are:first,to formulate policies and development plans for the promotion of Chinese language globally;second,to support Chinese language courses in educational institutions in other countries;and to draft international Chinese teaching standards,to develop and promote Chinese(Hanban,2012).Therefore,the Confucius Institute,as an important carrier of Chinese language and culture, played an important role in promoting cultural exchanges between China and other countries, and promoted the effective development of international relations such as cultural intercommunication, economy, trade and politics.Along with the development of the Confucius Institutes in the countries along "The Belt and Road" route,it has had a certain impact on China's foreign trade. At the same time, cultural products are the carrier of cultural information such as values and behaviors of a country, and their trade sensitivity to culture is more prominent."The Belt and Road" is an important strategy in China's new era.Economic and trade cooperation with countries along the route has an important driving effect on China's foreign trade and economic cooperation. At the same time, cultural exchanges with countries along the "Belt and Road" are also an important part of China's cultural output. At the end of 2017,138 Confucius Institutes and 136 Confucius classrooms have been established along the "The Belt and Road".The total number accounts for a quarter of the number of Confucius Institutes worldwide. Therefore, this paper will put the research perspective into the countries along the ""Belt and Road" to study the influence of Confucius Institutes on the export of cultural products. This article will take panel data on the export of cultural products from 51 "The Belt and Road" trading partners during 2005 to 2017,using the deformed gravity model and using the number of Confucius Institutes as the core explanatory variable, examine the impact of Confucius Institutes on export of China's culture product. The results show that the Confucius Institute has a certain promoting effect on the export of cultural products, and the promotion effect in Europe is greater than that in Asia, showing a certain regional differentiation;the promotion effect among high-income and upper-middle-income countries is greater than that of lower-middle-income and low-income countries. The test results are not in conflict with the test results in the geographical area,as most of the relative high-income countries are located in Europe. At the same time, economic freedom is also a significant factor affecting the export of cultural products. The influence of this factor also shows regional differentiation. On this basis, this paper considers the characteristics of cultural product trading, joins the consumption addiction's proxy variable to the model, and finds that addictive consumption also has a significant impact on product exports. Therefore, this paper believes that the Confucius Institute has expanded the cognition of Chinese culture through Chinese teaching and promoted the cultural closeness between China and its trading partners in terms of culture, especially language. The intercommunication of this culture has promoted the export of Chinese cultural products.
