Research On The National Separatism Movement Of Vietnamese Khmer In Contemporary Era

On June 4,1949,with the approval of the French Parliament,the French government officially handed over the Mekong Delta(also known as Xiapu Village)to Vietnam.After that,the Khmer people living in the area officially separated from Cambodia and became Vietnam's high.Cotton man.Due to historical grievances,real inequalities and related activities of the outside separatist forces,the issue of contemporary Vietnamese Khmer ethnic separatism has finally led to great influence on both Vietnam and Cambodia.This paper mainly studies the issue of separatism of this nation based on the literature review method and historical analysis method.In the introduction part,the research background,significance,current situation,theory and method of this paper are mainly discussed,and then the related core concepts are analyzed.The first chapter mainly introduces the historical origin of the Khmer people in Vietnam and the overall living conditions of this group of people.The second chapter is also the core chapter of this article.In this part,the evolution of the national separatist movement of the Khmer people in Vietnam It has made a detailed combing and made further analysis and prediction of the future of the movement according to relevant theories and realistic conditions.The third chapter of this paper is mainly based on relevant historical facts,focusing on the causes of the separatist movement of the nation.Then it made a general combing of the influence of the national separatist movement;the last chapter of the article mainly summarizes some of the current countermeasures and efforts made by the Vietnamese government against the separatist issue of the nation.After that,based on the relevant policies of the existing Vietnamese government,the author analyzes and summarizes the theory of the prior relationship and puts forward some personal ideas.The study found that the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:The national separatist movement of the Khmer people in Vietnam has experienced two major stages,one is the stage of violence separation before the 21st century,and the other is the 21st century.The implicit separation phase of the banner of "human rights,self-determination".There are three main reasons for the formation of the Khmer ethnic separatism in Vietnam.The historical national contradiction is an important reason for the national separatist sentiment;the lack of guarantee of national rights and interests is the root cause of the national separatist movement;external hostile forces Support is a catalyst for this separation movement.The current issue of ethnic separatism among the Khmer people in Vietnam has had far-reaching effects,mainly including three aspects.The first one is the impact on Vietnam,which has affected the stability of the domestic situation in Vietnam,harmed Vietnam's national sovereignty and damaged The national image of Vietnam.Second,the influx of illegal Vietnamese Khmer immigrants and related separatist activities have caused a certain degree of threat to the social stability and security situation in Cambodia.Finally,the issue has also affected the bilateral relations between Cambodia and Vietnam.When the national issue is intensified,it is also the time when bilateral relations are going to be low.According to the current countermeasures of the Vietnamese government's response to the problem of Khmer separatism in Vietnam,as well as both real and theoretical considerations,the separatist movement of the nation will eventually fail.
