Linqing is the northern commercial city of the Ming and Qing Dynasties along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.Among them,there are nearly 100 ancient residential buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties that have been registered and traced.The art of masonry carving on the building is mainly plant patterns,and it has been deeply influenced by the north and the south.The influence of transportation development,cross-regional cultural exchanges and the prosperity of the citizens' culture,the deeper social and cultural factors behind the formation of its artistic characteristics reflect the historical and cultural background of the time and the regional characteristics of the canal city.It is of great significance to explore the characteristics and causes of plant patterns on the masonry carvings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,as well as the connection between the social environment and architectural decoration at that time.It is of great significance to the protection and development and renewal of the canal culture.The paper takes the plant patterns in the brick and stone carving art of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the Zhongzhou Canal Block in Linqing as the research object.Based on the investigation,investigation and interviews,based on the literature classics,the ridges and drip tiles,the hoes and the shadow walls are divided into different categories.Brickwork carvings such as mountain flowers,kerbs and door pillows are sorted and studied,and case studies and comparative analysis are carried out.The specific plant patterns are carved,from the performance content,expression form,composition form,composition form,engraving process,etc.In this way,it summarizes its main forms of expression;in turn,it combines the characteristics of religious merchants,Islamic culture and other religious prosperity,wood carving inscriptions,and the interaction between the sculptures of bricks and stone sculptures in residential areas,and explores the evolutionary clues of plant patterns.At that time,the mainstream aesthetic tendency and cultural psychology;finally put forward opinions and suggestions on the current status of Linqing residential sculpture protection,and explore the relevant cultural and creative product design ideas,explore the feasibility of applying the traditional culture of masonry carving patterns to modern design path.
