Research On The Guangdong Women's Movement During The Period Of National Revolution

This article focuses on the Guangdong Women's Movement during the period of National Revolution,researching the regulations and policies organization and practice of the Guangdong Women's Movement under the background of the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation,to explore the relationship between the Guangdong Women's Movement and the National Revolution,and to rediscover the Guangdong Women's Movement had influence and significance on the National Revolution.Guangdong province is the birthplace of the National Revolution and the seat of the national government during the period of National Revolution.The revolutionary movement began with a bang in Guangdong under the leadership of the Kuomintang and the Communist party,basically unified the country,which laid a foundation for the future political situation.Researching the period of the Guangdong Women's Movement,has certain representativeness,from which to spy on the appearance and characteristics of Chinese women's movement in this period.The women of Guangdong under the leadership of the organizations of women's groups of the Women's Department of Kuomintang and represented by the Guangdong Women's Liberation Association,started a huge women's liberation movement during the period of National Revolution.Since then,Chinese women's movement began to develop systematically and systematically.In order to mobilize more women to join the torrent of the national revolution,the national government put the oppression from imperialism and the constraint of unequal laws and old moral codes is the root of women's oppression of the argument as a major political propaganda,claimed that the women's liberation is the premise of the success of the National Revolution,and to participate in the formulation of women's politics in the National Revolution and the liberation of women.The political appeal against imperialism and feudalism and the commitment of the national government become the impetus for women to participate in the national revolution.Guangdong women devoted themselves to the unification of the women's movement in the period,so that they do a lot of practical work in the National Congress Promotion Movement,International Women's Day Commemorative Activities,Provincial and Hong Kong Strike Movement,Eastern Expedition,Southern Expedition and Northern Expedition,such as carrying out political propaganda and mobilization,developing vocational education activities and philanthropic rescue career,aiding to the oppressed women,resolving women's marriage disputes,and even giving first-aid to the wounded in the war,which showing a brand-new face of Guangdong women's movement.In February 1927,the National Government moved to Wuhan.Chiang Kai-shek launched a counter-revolutionary coup in April this year,it means that the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation failed.And then the vigorous Women's Liberation Movement in Guangdong gradually tended to be calm,but it has brought Chinese women's movement to a new height,promoted the rapid development of women's movement and written a glorious page in the history of women's movement in China.
