On The Timeliness Of Materials In Installation Art

As a kind of contemporary art,installation art is increasingly regarded by artists as an important means of artistic expression.Artists are no longer limited to categories,materials,space environments,exhibition methods,etc.but they create art in a more open environment and interact with the audience.The art of installation is the art of space,material and human perception and by reflecting and responding to the world we live in,it have created a fusion of art and life.Material quality is an intermediary in the art of installation.Therefore,the properties of material quality and the study on material quality become very important for the creation of works.At the same time,the material quality itself contains many attributes.This paper mainly studies the timeliness of materials in installation art and discusses the meaning and state of the installation art works by focusing on the influence of timeliness existing in material quality on the works and the audience.This article also provides an in-depth analysis and research of contemporary installation artists,as well as collections of installations and so on.This paper discusses the generation of installation art and the differences between installation art and other art categories,and then analyzes the diversification of installation art development.Through an analysis of Henri Bergson's artistic time concept,this article provides an in-depth understanding of the relationship between timeliness and art categories and discuss it from a philosophical point of view.Then,the author deeply interprets the expression of "timeliness" in the works of Chinese and foreign art,and finally conducts in-depth analysis based on the timeliness characteristics of the installation art itself.In this paper,the timeliness of material quality media is taken as the main line of research.Through the analysis of the different attributes of materials,the concept of installation art works,the creative process of works,and the way of viewing works are interpreted and the relationship between time,space and existence is deeply considered.
