The Existence Of Sketching

Learning sketch is the prerequisite to the young painters.Although the Sketch is from western,the purpose of sketch training is not westernized entirely.It is used to transit to freehand drawing subject,in the meanwhile learners master observation method,train modelling skill by themselves.But it cannot be achieved in actual teaching process,especially,learners cannot apply the sketch skill on the freehand drawing subject.Thus,it is a course that many predecessors intend to resolve,how to combine the advantage of sketch and brush to make works have both further characterization and smooth drawing.This dissertation tries to explain and analysis how predecessors’ works apply the sketch skill to tradition Chinese painting,through concluding predecessors’ techniques,obtains deeply understanding of skill,helps learners to apply on practice.
