The Reading Supporting System Of High School First Language Textbooks In The U.S:ACDA Based Study

First language textbooks are an important part of mother-tongue education.They are the main material for students' learning and teacher teaching,and also,they carry the culture of one's motherland.The reading supporting system is the basic component of Chinese textbooks,which plays a role in helping students' learning activities,and reflects the editor's intentions.The research on American first language textbooks has a long history.This paper takes Prentice Hall 2012 high school literature textbook as the main research object,and uses CDA(Critical Discourse Analysis)as the main research method to obtain some reading aid system writing ideas or methods.This research provides some advices for the compilation of first language textbook reading system.This article consists of three parts.The first part is the introduction,which is mainly explained from the background,significance and object of this research,as well as literature review,and core concept are defined.The second part is the analysis of the textbook reading supporting system.The analysis methods used in each chapter are different.Each chapter in this section is consisted of a brief description of the research method and the research object,the specific study,and a brief summary.The second chapter is the analysis of editor's word,mainly using the text analysis method;the third chapter is the unit prompt,as well as the author and the background introduction analysis,mainly using the corpus linguistics,which including high-frequency word subject statistics,index line analysis and other methods;the fourth chapter is about illustrations,mainly use multimodal discourse analysis methods.The third part is the inspiration part of this research,mainly about textbook reading system writing method and writing concept.
