A Study On Construction Of "X Duo(?) X Shao(?)"

The use of the construction "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" is common,it is rich in semantics,can reflect the subjectivity of the speaker,and express the emotions and opinions of the speaker.The construction consists of a fixed item "Duo(?)"?"Shao(?)" and a variable item "X".The fixed term restricts the form,part of speech and semantics of the variable item.This paper follows the principle of combining description and interpretation.It uses the theory of "Three-stratum Grammar" and "construction suppression" as a guide.It uses various methods such as data statistics to study the syntax?semantics and pragmatic characteristics of the constructive "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)",analyze its formation mechanism and motivation.Firstly,on the basis of judging that "X is more than X" is the construction,this paper analyzes the syllables,grammatical attributes and syntactic functions of the constituent elements in "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)".In terms of the number of syllables,the "X" in the "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" structure is mainly monosyllabic,accounting for 80.9%of the total,and other syllables account for 19.1%of the total.The four-syllables composed of monosyllabic "X" have an absolute advantage in the configuration of "X Duo(?)and X Shao(?)which embodies the advantage of the four-character structure in Chinese.The length of the "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" syllables is even symmetry,the structural semantics are juxtaposed,the rhythm of the steps is consistent with the semantics and the grammar,the flat collocation makes the structure have a symmetrical change in the tone,the pitch of the tones produces the swaying and lifting,which provides beauty of the symmetry and harmony of the structure.From the perspective of grammatical attributes,these "X" that can enter the structure are mainly predicate components and verbal components,predicate components account for 60.4%of the total,and verbal components account for 39.6%of the total.The fixed item "Duo(?)" and "Shao(?)" in the construction are adjectives,indicating the quantity of things.In terms of syntactic function,the "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" structure can act as a syntactic component of a single sentence,or as a clause of a compound sentence.Second,in terms of semantics,the logical semantic relationship between "X Duo(?)" and "X Shao(?)" is a parallel relationship.The specific semantics include the choice relationship and the coexistence relationship.The "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" structure has a rich semantic meanings,there are four main types:one is the option of providing quantity,including the two-pole quantity and the partial quantity of the partial meaning;the second is the contrast of the expression quantity;the third is the overall expression of the expression format "X";The fourth is to express the meaning of "whether X is Duo(?)or X is Shao(?)".Third,in terms of pragmatics,the "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" structure can be used alone or repeatedly,and can also be used in combination with other similar structures.The"X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" structure tends to be a spoken language in the style,which can highlight the subjectivity of the speaker.Finally,the formation mechanism of "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" is mainly divided into analogy and construction suppression.It is mainly derived from the form of unmarked parallel structure;the construction suppression is embodied in the suppression of length of syllable,parts of speech and semantics and restrictions in entry.The motivation for the formation of the "X Duo(?)and X Shao(?)"is mainly the economic principle of language.This principle not only promotes the formation of the format,but also promotes the development of the format.The meaning of "X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" can highlight the subjective consciousness of the speaker and express the speaker's personal feelings and subjective tendencies.It has strong contextual dependence."X Duo(?)X Shao(?)" represents a special type of antisense morpheme structure,which is of great significance for enriching the theoretical and practical use of the construction.
