The psychological reactions involved in the music practice of composing are diversified and complex.In the composition process,most of the composition is not done in one go,but there are stages of behavior,at different stages of the composition of the composer is different.At the same time in this process,the use of memory is essential.As the composer applies different types of memory,the form and characteristics of the memory change as the composition behavior changes.In this paper,the composition process,a music practice,is taken as the object,and the episodic and semantic memory are used as the entry point,and the methods such as interview and literature analysis are used for analysis and research.This paper first summarizes memory and its classification,and selects the classification perspective of episodic memory and semantic memory of turvin to sort out its operation mechanism and characteristics.Secondly,based on the relevant research theories of predecessors and the analysis of the interview materials of multiple composers,the composition process is divided into three stages,and the practical content and characteristics of each stage are summarized.Last,based on the interview data and creation examples,this paper systematically analyzes the manifestation and characteristics of memory(episodic memory and semantic memory)in the three stages of composing.This paper is divided into four chapters,and each chapter will be summarized and discussed based on the interview materials.The first chapter introduces the internal principle of memory,episodic memory and semantic memory,the division basis of composition process and the general behavior of each stage.Chapter 2 to chapter 4 focuses on the creative purpose,behavioral characteristics,and processing mode and characteristics of context and semantic memory in the three stages of composing.
