Ethical care not only pays attention to the material care of the carers,but also the spiritual care can not be ignored.It is a deep concern of all aspects of material care,spiritual care and moral care.Based on the theory of sympathy and the mechanism of benevolence in Hume’s sentimentalism,the combination of sympathy and benevolence promotes people to jump out of the circle of self-interest and give priority to the long-term interests of society."Empty nest youth" as a part of the society,under the influence of sympathy theory and benevolence mechanism,the aim is reveal their problems,which will arouse widespread concern in society and provide ethical care for "empty nest youth."Ethical care for "empty nest youth" requires efforts from four aspects,including fulfilling the functions of government ethical care,stimulating the enthusiasm of social ethical care,implementing the responsibility of family ethical care,and raising the awareness of individual ethical care,form an all-round ethical care system.Only by finding a reasonable ethical care practice path for the "empty nest youth" can they find a lifestyle that suits them in the transition period of life,live a poetic life,and live a self.
