Chinese culture is attracting more and more foreign tourists who are interested in it.Nowadays,most of Chinese cities are developing its red tourism to publicize the red culture,which is an important part of the strategy for culture going out.Mudanjiang city is rich in tourism red resources and it is one of the places where bandit suppression culture originates.The report chooses Bandit-Suppression Culture and Tourism Development in the Northeast of China as the material of translation practice,which will make contributions to the tourist development of Mudanjiang area.This report is based on translation practice,which mainly introduces the reason for choosing it as translation practice material.Firstly,the characteristic of the project is also summarized in the first part.The proper theory and the translation methods are chosen based on the features of the text.The purpose of this report is about how to improve the acceptability and readability of translation from three aspects including culture information,language information and logic information.Secondly,Peter Newmark's communicative translation is used here for achieving the purpose mentioned above.The translation methods,such as free translation,division,inversion,comprehensive method,are used in this report guided by Newmark's theory.At last,the translator summarizes this translation practice,making reflections and suggestions for future translation research.In translation,the translator hopes to make more foreign tourists know about Mudanjiang City and fall in love this city.Meanwhile,the translator also hopes this translation could be helpful for the development of local tourism and publicization of bandit-suppression Culture.It can also provide reference value for the research of parallel text.
