| With the rapid development of global economy,people’s living standard has been significantly increased,and the development of the tourism industry is increasingly vigorous.International tourism develops sustainably and diversely,becoming one of the world’s fastest growing industries.Countries and regions all over the world pay more and more attention to the development of tourism industry,actively develop new tourist destination,and expand domestic tourism market to attract tourists around the world.Thus,tourism translation becomes extremely important.Excellent translation can effectively arouse people’s interest of travel,attract many visitors,and provide comprehensive,detailed and reliable data for travel plan so as to promote the development of tourism.The translation practice materials discussed in this report,a set of traveling guidance of France,are selected from a European tourist website.Through the summary and analysis of the translation practice materials,this paper mainly discussed how the communicative translation theory guides the translation of tourism text.The communicative translation theory is first stated,which is to make the target-text readers get the same feeling of the source-text readers when they are reading as possible.Then,the characteristics and function of tourism text are introduced,which is to attract people to travel.The translation of tourism text and the communicative translation theory both focus on the readers,taking the reader as their center.That’ s why the communicative translation theory can direct the translation of tourism text.Finally,through case analysis,this paper’ expounds how the communicative translation theory directs the translation of tourism text in detail and which translation skills should be used,aiming to provide some reference for the tourism translation. |
