A Comparative Study Of Two Version Of The Scriptures Human Migration

The Naxi people are a minority people living in southwest C hina.They created and preserved a splendid and rich culture.O ne of the most importa nt reasons for Naxi culture to be pass down from generation to generation is that they not only have their own language,but also their own writing,that is Dongba script which is the only hieroglyphics still in use in the world.Dongba script embodies the wisdom of the Naxi people,which can be used to record the scriptures,accounting books,medical books,lyrics and letters.The study of Dongba script can provide important materials for the study of Naxi social history and it is of great significance to the study and enrichment of philology,national history and human culture.This article will make a comparative analysis of the two versions of Human Migration,an important book of Naxi nationalty.O ne version is Chongbantu organized and translated by teacher Zeng Xiaopeng in Eya.Another version is The Flood Story of Moxie People,written and pronounced by Mr.He Cai and organized and translated by Mr.Li Lincan.The article will take these two classics as the material,take the philology theory as the instruction,carries on the comparative study to these two classics.Firstly,compare the phonetics of two scriptures to understand the difference in phonetic development between the two regions.secondly,annotate the Dongba script in The Flood Story of Moxie People,and explain the original meaning and the borrowed meaning.According to the classification of Naxi hieroglyphics,the characters of Dongba in Chongbantu and The Flood Story of Moxie People are classified and made into character tables.On the basis of the character tables and using the theory of philology,this paper classifies the characters and compares the differences between the two scriptures.lastly,do a comparative study on the correspondence between Dongba writing units and language units to find the law.
