Naxi Dongba Human Character Study

In Southwest China,there is a mysterious character named Naxi character,which is created and used by DongBa.It’s known as "he living fossil of pictograph".We select the Human body character as the research object,focuse on analyzing how the pictographs configured and shaped.Based on "the spectrum of Naxi pictograph" by Guoyu Fang,Zhiwu He,"the dictionary of MO-SO pictographs" as the research material,we select633pictographs involved the Human body or organs.This article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter defines the Human body character,and gives a review of former literatures,so as to determine the research approach and method of the article.The second chapter is based on the theory of Chinese characters’configuration by Ning Wang.We analyse the Human body characters from four aspects,such as the structure and function of the components, the configuration model, component layout, configuration level.The third chapter is discussed on the basis of previous literatures.The analysis of modelling is based on the analysis of configuration,mainly including the selection of visual angle,the using of line variation,the exaggeration of the shape, the conversion of the background of the component.The fourth chapter sorts the component of the Human body character.Based on the analysis of configuration and modeling,we sort the component of the Human body character,and analyse the characteristic,so we can fully and systematic draw the outline of the Human body character.The fifth chapter is conclusion. We card the conclusions mentioned in this article.
