Throughout the art reproduction and development of art genre in different periods,"erotic art" as a wonderful branch in the history of art,its rise is inseparable from the era of innovation and cultural liberation.From the Paleolithic "Venus of Wilhelm" woman to today,the "exposed body" has always played a mainstream or tributary role;on the one hand,it symbolizes human desire for the pursuit of a perfect body,but also reflects Behind the "perfect body",the sublimity of human wisdom.Desire and sex are the pursuit of human instinct.In the British Victorian era,the "sexual desire" in the works of art contained resistance to the secular ethics and transgression.The more repressed the age,the more lurking the darkness of erotic art.This article cuts into the Victorian period in the United Kingdom,and tries to examine the relationship between mainstream art and erotic art from the perspectives of different works of art and gender consciousness,and explores the “reverse” of paintings in the body that symbolizes “natural beauty” and erotic art in photographic media.The trend of change,and the far-reaching influence on the art of later generations.
