The Folk Craftsman In Chinese Contemporary Literature

In the free and open social environment of the new era,the labor group called "craftsman" has appeared under Wang Zengqi,Deng Youmei,Feng Yicai,Sun Fangyou,Li Hangyu,Wang Runzi,Wang Anyi,Lu Min,Mo Yan,Jia Pingwa and many other writers,which covers almost all types of handicraft.The emergence of "craftsman" in the new era deconstructed the grand narrative mode,showing readers the true folk and the traditions which are faded away through describing the traditional skills of the small people in the market and the local customs.This thesis chooses the “craftsman”,a labor group engaged in the manual industry,and sets the research interval in the new period.The introduction firstly makes a sociological and cultural interpretation of the concept of“craftsman”,and the second part briefly discusses the topic including the research status and current research results;the third part describes the research value of this paper and the main research methods.The main body of this paper is divided into the following five chapters:The first chapter firstly discusses the historical inheritance in the writing of the craftsman in the history of Chinese literature,and it explains the occurrence context of the new century craftsman writing from the three aspects including the disintegration of rigid politics,the literary roots of discourse,and the wave of industrialization,which are the possible reasons.The second chapter mainly discusses the traits of the craftsman group's thought,the core thought of the group is the "folk".The concrete manifestation is as follows: Firstly,it is the non-religious and non-political simple purpose of earning a living.It only earns life by skill.Secondly,As a popular position pursued by the “flat-headed people”;Finally,due to the long-standing social status of the folk craftsmen,the folk artisans generally have a shallow cultural heritage and lack of innovativeness and creativity.The third chapter mainly indicates the choice of the craftsmen who faced the conflict between tradition and modernity in the writing of the craftsman,as well as the display of the traditional craftsmanship and folk customs of the craftsmen in the new era.From the relationship between craftsmen and skill and artistic ethics,the image of craftsmen is divided into two types: "Keep" or "Change".The fourth chapter explains the artistic representation of folk craftsman writing in the new era.Firstly,it restores the scene of folklore life.Secondly,it explains the "dialects,spoken language,songs" from the perspective of language narrative characteristics.Finally,select the representative things in the folklore and explain the cultural implications of the traditional life.The fifth chapter mainly reflects on the value and significance of the craftsman writing in the new era as well as the new changes in the writing of the new century.In the new era which the "artisan spirit" is highly respected,the former craftsmen in the novels now have more important time significance.They are not only the witnesses of the art era,but also the inheritors of traditional culture,highlighting the most unique national characteristics and culture.The existence of traditional craftsmen has not only made the social customs scrolls since the new era survival,but also their extraordinary,excellence and power of life has gave inspiration for the current noisy material society and those who have been swallowed up by desires and boredom in the society.
