Spanish is an important course in the elementary education stage of our country.It is also a basic subject to improve learners'humanistic quality and language ability.Through the study of Spanish language and culture,students can meet the requirements of the curriculum standards and achieve the ideal goals in language level,cultural awareness,logical thinking and learning ability.Spanish is also a new subject,compared with English teachers,textbooks,teaching methods,evaluation and implementation of far less than English subjects,all aspects are in the exploratory stage.This paper applies formative assessment to Spanish teaching.Based on the requirements of Spanish Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools for Spanish Core Literacy and the task objectives of the curriculum,the main research questions are as follows:1.There is no scientific and comprehensive evaluation system for Spanish subject so far,how to establish this system A system?How can we be scientific and comprehensive?2.What data do students need to collect after the evaluation system is established?What is the relationship between these data and evaluation models?3,how to verify the effectiveness of the established evaluation system?In this study,20 students in two groups of the author's school were selected as the research object.There were 10 students in the experimental group and 10 students in the control group.Formative evaluation is adopted in the three dimensions,while formative evaluation is not used in the controlled teaching,and the original summative evaluation method is adopted directly.The experiment lasted for one semester.The midterm examination results were analyzed as the pre-test data.Twenty students were divided into parallel groups.The final examination results were taken as the post-test data.The validity of the evaluation system was verified by comparing the data of the experimental group and the control group horizontally and vertically.The data comparison shows that the control group keeps a balance between the pre-test and post-test data of knowledge system and skill system,indicating that the only variable in the experiment is whether the formative evaluation means of information technology are used in teaching.In the pre-test and post-test data of the experimental group,the scoring rate of the knowledge system was improved,and the scoring rate of the two low-level skills of "understanding" and "memory" in the skill system was higher than that of "analysis" and "application",indicating that the formative evaluation of information technology is superior in the classroom.Students' low level skills have been reduced.Formative assessment in Spanish can help students improve their academic performance.However,this experimental study has its limitations,such as how to improve the reliability and validity of the experiment by prolonging the experimental time and expanding the number of subjects.How to extend the evaluation system to other foreign languages?How to incorporate "listening" into the evaluation system in language learning is a question that needs to be further explored.
