A Study On The City Of Nanning People Who Lives On The Boat About Their Marriage Culture's Changes And Persistent

Dan is the people who lives a life on the boat.They are general term for the people living and producing in the coastal areas of eastern and southern China and on inland rivers since ancient times.They are also called "cockroaches" or "eggs" in history.Since ancient times,they have lived a life of water dwelling with boats as their homes and rafting rooms,and their aquatic culture has unique elements.After living on shore,The Dan left their material and spiritual homeland on which their ancestors depended for their survival.Their traditional aquatic cultural elements are undergoing comprehensive impact and foreign cultural assimilation and reconstruction.Therefore,this paper mainly takes Yongjiang Dan in Nanning as a case study,takes their water wedding custom as the research object,combines historical documents and field investigation,restores the water wedding customs which presents the original flavor of Dan,makes a comparative study of the history and current situation of the traditional cultural customs,analyses the social function of water sigh wedding before and after the change,and grasps it through field investigation.The internal and external causes of the cultural change of the traditional cultural custom of the people of Dan are proposed for the protection and inheritance of the custom.The article restores and reproduces the original wedding of Dan in Yongjiang.The wedding process can be divided into four parts.It also analyses the four social functions of the wedding and ceremony: psychological consolation,identification,inheritance norms and cohesion.It also analyses the changes of the wedding customs on the water,obtains the internal and external factors that influence the changes of customs,and points out the reasons for the cultural changes of the traditional culture and customs of the Dan based on the data collected from the field and related literature.On the one hand,the economic foundation determines the superstructure,and the economic development has greatly changed the living standard and living environment of Dan.After landing for living,they are faced with the impact of strong culture on the land.On the other hand,they lack of cultural identity because of their own inertia,and analyze the social function of customs after the change.Finally,it summarizes the factors that cause the change of Dan's culture.The conclusion that Dan left the environment--water--their ancestors lives,his spiritual suddenly faded.After landing and settling on the land,the core of culture has broken down.Afterwards,due to the influence of cultural inertia of low social status and lack of cultural identity,the inheritance of culture is facing difficulties.Suggestions on protecting and inheriting the customs of Dan are given from three aspects: attaching importance to the cultivation of inheritors,expanding the channels of cultural communication and cultivating cultural identity.
