Research On The Wenzhou Scholars Group During The Song Gaozong Period

In the second year of Jianyan(1028),Song Gaozong escaped from the Golden Man chasing and fled to Wenzhou,which had a great impact on the local development of Wenzhou,making Wenzhou a secondary county in the Southern Song Dynasty.The improvement of Wenzhou’s political and economic status has brought opportunities to Wenzhou scholars and promoted the rise of Wenzhou scholars.During this period,the former central officials who came to Wenzhou due to political struggles were re-used.The Wenzhou scholars they supported also depended on their participation in political struggles and swam between different factions.At the same time,within the wenzhou scholar-officials group,they also formed different bureaucratic networks through marriage,inheritance and family relations.They have influenced the politics of Song Gaozong through their bureaucratic networks and expanded their influence.On the issue of Jianyan Nandu,the Song and Jin Wars and the peace talks,and the party struggle,Wenzhou scholars have all participated in or published their own opinions,and even disagreed on different issues,which have affected their political choices.During the middle and late period of Gaozong,Shaoxing’s reform and the imperialexamination reforms restored and developed the literati atmosphere in the Southern Song Dynasty.The Wenzhou scholar-officials also gradually took the official career because of the reform of the imperial examinations.They served as official positions and devoted themselves to academics,which had an important impact on the development of Wenzhou local culture and promoted The inheritance and development of Yongjia academic thought in the Southern Song Dynasty laid the foundation for the emergence of the Yongjia school in the Southern Song Dynasty.For Wenzhou scholars,Although most of them were not in the core class of power during the Song Gaozong period,they also had different Austrian aids.However,most of them have morale and morality,and often help each other and become a close group.
