Study On Polysyllabic Words Of Qing Pingshan Tang Story-telling Scripts

The Song dynasty is an important link in the development of modern Chinese,and the Song script for story-telling plays an important role in the transition of writing language from classical Chinese to vernacular Chinese.Therefore,the lexical study of the Song script for story-telling will help us to understand the language style at that time and is of great value to enrich modern Chinese.This article selects ten confirmed texts of the Song script for story-telling which are from the Qing Pingshan Tang Story-telling Scripts as the research object.This article will make an exhaustive statistical analysis of the polysyllabic words and then use the synchronic comparison and diachronic comparison in the aspects of the part of speech,word-formation ways and methods to summarize the basic characteristics of the polysyllabic words,which will help us to fully understand it.In addition,with reference to The Great Chinese Dictionary,this paper also sorts out and analyzes the new words appearing in the Song script for story-telling,so as to fully excavate the corpus value in the Song script for story-telling,and to supplement some basic materials for the study of Chinese history.
