Studies On The Folk Playwrights Of Puxian Opera In The New Era

The play of Puxian Opera,compiled and created by folk playwrights,have been performed on the stage all year round,playing the role of entertainment and education on the stage.These folk playwrights have a complex identity and a large number of creations,which have great influence among the people.They are an extremely important creative group neglected by the academic circlesIn the preface,the author first introduces the definition scope of folk playwrights,then briefly introduces the reasons and significance of studying folk playwrights,summarizes the current research situation in this field,and briefly introduces the research ideas and contents of this paper.The first chapter is an overview of the folk playwrights of Puxian Opera since the new era,including the types of folk playwright,playwriting and play management Among the types of folk playwright,the author roughly divides them into three categories:folk playwrights from theatre staff,folk playwrights who had training in playwriting and folk playwrights from teachers and other public employeesThe second chapter the author discusses the themes of folk plays.Folk playwrights prefer historical stories and family ethics.In addition,the themes of local heros and modern civilized drama are further extensions of traditional themesIn the third chapter the author summarizes three prominent playwriting features of folk playwrights,namely,ingenious and witty plot design,nulti-functional scene interpolation,skilled and fluent use of dialects.
