The metaphorical representation of power usually corresponds to the size of space, that is,people are used to mapping the strength of power by the size of space.Previous studies have shown that size affects the processing of power concepts, and painting has become a new way to study children's metaphorical development.Previous studies have found that power is closely related to aggressive behavior, but few people have studied the perception of power between active aggressive children and reactive aggressive children. Is there any difference between these two types of aggressive children's perception of power? The first experiment was to find out the children's power perception of active aggressors and reactive aggressors and screened different types of aggressors.652 pupils in grade 4 and 5 of a primary school in Tianjin were selected as subjects.Crick and Dodge(1987) were used to screen reactive aggressive children and active aggressive children.Afterwards, three painting themes were set in the active and reactive aggression scenarios by using the in-subject design By examining the size difference between the aggressor and the attackee in the two aggression scenarios, the power perception of children with different types of aggression to the active aggressor and the reactive aggressor in the two painting tasks was investigated. The results showed that:(1)the area of the attacker was significantly larger than that of the attackee in the three types of children's active aggression situations;(2)there was no significant difference between the area of the attacker and the area of the attackee in the three types of children's reactive aggression situationsIn experiment 2.we examined whether children with active and reactive aggression would change their aggressive behavior after changing their power. In the second experiment,we used the design between subjects to start the sense of power through false tests and situational simulation to find out whether the aggressive behavior would be reduced after reducing the power of active aggeressive children and reactive aggressive children.28 children will be attacked actively.40 children will be attacked reactively and 40 children will be normal. Each type of child was randomly assigned to the high-power group and the low-power group, with the same number of children in each group. After controlling its power level.the aggressive behavior is measured by competitive response time attack paradigm. The results showed that:(1)for active aggressive children and normal children, the one with high sense of power showed stronger aggression than the one with low sense of power;(2)the level of power had no effect on the aggressive intensity of reactive aggressive children. In the first and second experiments,it was found that the level of individual power was closely related to their aggressive behavior. All three types of children believed that the power of aggressive children was greater than that of reactive aggressive children, and the intensity of aggressive behavior was significantly enhanced by improving the sense of power of aggressive children. Therefore,in daily education, educators should pay attention to the balance of power distribution among students,to avoid more mutual aggression caused by the imbalance of power.
