At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries,China experienced many dramatic changes, which brought a large number of female writers to the stage of history for the first time. The female writers of the May 4th generation actively responded to the call of the times, enlightened the people's wisdom with their unique creations, and joined the male writers into the torrent of the era of enlightenment and salvation.Unlike the female writers of the same era,Ling Shuhua's outstanding understanding of social communication ethics, traditional family ethics and modern marriage ethics has increasingly highlighted its aesthetic value and significance in literary history with the passage of time. This article takes the ethical narrative of Ling Shuhua's novels as the research object, and discusses the development of several major issues:What kind of ethical narrative picture is shown in Ling Shuhua's novel text? What deep psychology is hidden behind these ethical judgments of writers? What is the historical significance of Ling Shuhua's ethical narrative? This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces Ling Shuhua's novel creation and research status, and clarifies the core concepts and research objects of this paper. The second part is three chapters. The first chapter discusses the ethical narrative of social interaction in Ling Shuhua's novels. This chapter mainly discusses three aspects:social openness of men and women, social status of women, and social obstruction of women. With his women's unique sensitive brushstrokes,Ling Shuhua vividly depicts the psychological state of female groups in the transitional stage of social ethics, hesitant, and incomprehensible. From the young lady who squats to the ancestral hall to the new woman who accepts modern education, she is forced to open her body and suffer both physical and spiritual harm.As for the transformation of this social ethics model, the writer who is the female subject has an insight into the embarrassing situation of women who have lost the patriarchal protection of traditional ethics and the "forced freedom" of modern ethics. The second chapter analyzes the traditional family ethics narrative in Ling Shuhua's novels. This chapter mainly discusses the three aspects of the image of father, woman and children in the traditional family.Ling Shuhua, who is of great family origin,is not a"May 4th" picture of the feudal patriarchal family when she touches on traditional family ethics.Instead, she tries her best to write about the love and irony among them:an endless father,an old family with mixed sadness and joy,a marginal child without losing his instinct. This is not so much that Ling Shuhua shouted for the traditional family ethics. It is better to understand it as a useful attempt to stay close to historical truth and human reality. The third chapter analyses the narrative of modern marriage ethics in Ling Shuhua's novels.Ling Shuhua's novels are essentially deep doubts about the myth of modern women's liberation. The new women who enter the modern monogamous family suppress their own desires and fall back into the traditional track of breeding many children and emptiness. In this new-looking and old-fashioned civilized family, women still do not get the status of independent individuals, while the lack of female subjectivity, their value of life is still attached to the traditional role of a good wife and a good mother, and consciously retreat to traditional ethics and morality. The third part is the conclusion. This part focuses on the overall observation of Ling Shuhua's novels, explores the soil of the ethical narrative of Ling Shuhua's novels, and considers the value of its ethical narrative in the framework of literary history.Ling Shuhua's ethical narrative of "old-fashioned" is derived from the value of her rooted tradition and the value judgment of Chinese and Western.Under the radicalism of the May 4th Movement,Ling Shuhua's triple ethical narrative reflects her contradictions, namely, her prudence in social communication ethics, her attachment and irony to traditional family ethics, and her doubts about modern marriage ethics. As a "son"generation opposed to patriarchy, she could not open her arms to encourage women to enter the social sphere, and could not totally deny the human nature of the traditional family. At the same time, she was also disappointed with the civilized family in the ethical transition period. The value of his novels is also in line with this:the ethical narrative in Ling Shuhua's fiction shows the different tones of the radical era and opens up another dimension of history for future generations of readers. There is no doubt that Ling Shuhua has created a unique ethical narrative novel because of his unique background and value judgment, and contributed different female stories to the literary history.Likewise, because of Ling Shuhua's cautious conservatism, her novels also have the same regret that they have not been deeply touched.Nevertheless, this ethical narrative writing which differs from the trend of the times is sufficient to establish Ling Shuhua's unique position in literary history.
