This thesis uses the research ideas of the small triangle theory to carry out a more detailed and comprehensive description of the"Wu(?)"in Ledong dialect from the three aspects of semantics,grammar and pragmatics.In addition,based on Ledong dialect,comprehention of "Dialect-Mandarin","Dialect-Ancient Chinese",Dialect-Dialect.There are six parts in this paper.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the human geography and dialect of Ledong,and summarizes the research results of Hainan dialect and the research status of "Wu(?)" in modem Chinese,ancient Chinese and Xiamen dialect.Finally,the purpose,significance,methods,source of linguistic material and style of the article are interpreted specially.The second part mainly analyzes the semantics of the "Wu(?)" in Ledong dialect.On the basis of this,it compares respectively the semanties of "Wu(?)" in Ledong dialect with "Wu(?)" in Mandarin and "Wu(?)" in ancient Chinese.The third part analyzes the grammar of "Wu(?)" in Ledong dialect.Firstly,it analyzes the character of "Wu(?)" in Ledong dialect."Wu(?)" can be used as verbs,adverbs,auxiliary words and conjunctions respectively.Secondly,it analyses the combination of "Wu(?)" and other syntactic components in Ledong dialect,namely "Wu(?)+NP","Wu(?)+VP" and "Wu(?)+AP".Finally,the special format of"Wu(?)" in Ledong is analyzed and classified and discussed.The special format we discuss here contains "Wu(?)" in the use of comparison sentences and "? A ? B" format.The fourth part analyzes the pragmatics of "Wu(?)" in Ledong dialect,which mainly includes two aspects,namely,"Wu(?)" speech act and "Wu(?)" negative focus and presupposition.In speech acts,"Wu(?)" implements verbal behaviors such as requirements,suggestions,orders,prohibitions,rejections,subjective evaluations,and inquiries;the negative focus and presupposition of "Wu(?)" are influenced by context and accent.The fifth part mainly introduces the difference between "Wu(?)" in Ledong dialect and Xiamen dialect from two aspects of semantics and grammar.In terms of semantics,we discuss them by the same point and different points;in terms of grammar,we mainly compare them from two aspects:word class and syntax.The sixth part is the conclusion,summarizing the main content of this paper,and pointing out the omissions and deficiencies in this paper.
