Research On Decorative Seal Characters From The Perspective Of Design

In the history of the development of Chinese characters,the seal script not only retains the obvious characteristics of the ancient pictographs,but also distinguishes itself from other fonts in terms of its regularity and textualization,which is highly decorative and artistic.Decorative seal script refers to that seal script,as an art form or artistic element,is designed and attached to various main objects,and is led by decorative beautification to vividly restore its own features of pictorialization,symbolization and visualization.Its media materials mainly focus on architecture,metal,seal cutting and fabric,etc.The main forms of materials are written in Chinese characters such as jadang,xiyin,tablet/brick,ethnic emblem inscriptions,currency inscriptions,seal decoration of rafter head doors and Windows,and weaving characters.Starting from the perspective of design,this paper makes a study on the graphic characteristics,layout structure and aesthetic concept of decorative seal script,and analyzes the forms of the characters such as ichthyology and ichthyology.Combined with historical literature,this paper analyzes,summarizes and summarizes the characteristics and layout structure of schemata,and probes into the cultural motivation,creative mode and aesthetic taste behind schemata,in order to provide help for the development of contemporary design.
