From the birth of art,materials are accompanied by art,the media of art is rich and diverse.Wax materials as painting materials have already appeared and are quite mature.In the undergraduate elective course on materials,I chose to use wax to create because of the theme of creation.Later,after further research,we found that wax material is a kind of art material with historical history and has an irreplaceable position and tension in contemporary art.In the graduate study stage,I choose to continue to use wax to create,in the process of searching for information,I found that the professional research on wax as an art material is very rare in our country.However,by consulting the history,technology,traditional material techniques and other fields of data,the wax materials gradually accumulated and established a knowledge and a systematic understanding.This paper summarizes the characteristics of wax materials and analyzes the unique aesthetic forms of wax materials in traditional Chinese painting,oil painting,printmaking,sculpture and so on.You can find inspiration and resources for the use of wax in future painting.Comprehensive material painting as Modern and Contemporary Art It is the evolution of single painting materials,the fusion of multiple painting techniques and techniques,and the product of the times characterized by the comprehensiveness and richness of materials.Comprehensive material painting has the opening and possibility of multiple interpretations,drawing on Chinese painting,oil painting,sculpture and other different forms of expression,multi-language mixing,breaking the traditional single boundary,giving play to the physical performance of the material ability.Excavate the aesthetic value of the material,make the material obtain the non-material characteristic,seek the more open,more inclusive and more vitality road.This article is divided into three chapters,analyzing and demonstrating why wax materials are involved in painting art.First of all,the nature of wax is to briefly discuss the characteristics and classification of wax materials,according to the different characteristics of wax materials,resulting in different applications in different fields;The second chapter discusses the change of wax from the expression of wax in different plastic arts,and analyzes the inspiration and influence of wax on painting.The third chapter discusses the constancy of wax from three different angles: wax,culture and aesthetics.Wax is an ancient painting material,which is preserved and endowed with the essence of many times,from which we can explore a lot of art related to it.Activities Our experience is certainly not the same as the ancients,a new era of new expression,wax materials in a different face to give us a wonderful aesthetic experience.Looking back at the wax material in the past is such an indispensable material,in the present comprehensive materials painting vigorous development provides a stage for a variety of materials,wax materials will also be recognized and promoted again,rich means of expression,bring more rich,A fresher visual experience.
