With the rapid development of science and technology and the popularity of the Internet,the application of the Internet in English teaching is becoming more and more widespread,which brings great challenges to English learning in primary schools.With the innovation of technology and the advancement of educational information,the combination of network and English learning is becoming closer and closer.Various kinds of online learning platforms for assisting English learning spring up.Among them,the typical one is the online learning platform of "Yi Qi Zuo Ye".Therefore,the online learning approach of Qi Zuo Ye" can not only help improve students' learning efficiency,but also provide good opportunities for innovating English learning methods.This study is based on the "Yi Qi Zuo Ye" online learning platform.Through the pre-test of English,the experimental class and the control class are selected.The students in the experimental class complete their homework through the online learning approach of"Yi Qi Zuo Ye" while the students in the control class complete their homework in the form of traditional homework.Before and after the experiment,86 students from two classes are surveyed with questionnaires.Questionnaire surveys combined with the observation of some students are used to find whether the online learning approach can make some differences on students' English learning interest and their English learning performance.Finally,two classes take the final test.The test results are analyzed by software SPSS 19.0 independent sample T test,and then combined with interviews with some students to draw the corresponding experimental conclusions.The experimental results show that the online learning approach of "Yi Qi Zuo Ye"has a significant effect on improving pupils' interest and attitude in English learning.The online learning approach of "Yi Qi Zuo Ye" has little influence on pupils' English learning performance.Through interviews and analysis,it seems that students' individual differences,different learning habits,family background and other differences affect the results.The significance of this study is to enhance pupils' interest in English learning and improve their efficiency of English homework through the online learning approach of "Yi Qi Zuo Ye".By collecting relevant data and summarizing them,we can change the situation of low efficiency and quality of homework in traditional English teaching in primary schools,improve the status quo of students' mechanical homework,and provide feasible suggestions for students to use online homework platform,which has some practical guiding significance for future learning.
