The inefficiency of English classroom teaching in higher vocational education has always been one of the main topics in foreign language teaching research.Among them,the role of students' learning motivation in English teaching has attracted more and more attention.Researchers in the field of the sociology,psychology,behavior and other perspectives to stimulate and cultivate students' motivation to learn English.In recent years,educational ecology has gradually entered the field of view.The author intends to explore the strategies of motivating students to stimulate English learning in vocational colleges from the perspective of educational ecology.Based on the theory of educational ecology and learning motivation,this paper puts forward the strategy of cultivating English learning motivation of vocational students based on educational ecology theory.Taking the non-English majors of a vocational and technical college in Jiangxi Province as an experimental object,the feasibility of cultivating students' motivation to learn is guided by the questionnaire and test.After a semester of teaching experiment,based on statistical analysis of the questionnaires and English test scores found: through the establishment of a harmonious educational environment,students learn strategies to improve students' interest in learning and other strategies,experimental class level of motivation and academic performance in English Significantly higher than the control class.Therefore,to educate the ecological theory of guidance to develop students 'English learning motivation,can improve the students' English proficiency.
